Last evening I placed my refuse and recycles at the roadside when I was on my way to Church to attend a meeting. When I returned later in the evening, it had been picked up, and my scheduled pickup isn't until Wednesday morning. They must have picked it up when passing on their way home. That's good service and good customer relations, and I'm telling everyone I can."

Eleanor C. (New Milford) "I just contracted to have our first garbage pickup today from Best Sanitation. Living here for over 18 years, I got used to recycling bins tossed in the driveway, garbage can lids in the road, and garbage cans on their sides rolling to and fro in the wind, narrowly being missed by moving cars (not to mention discarded papers and rotting banana peels that never made it into the garbage truck).

As I arrived home from work, I gave a big sigh when I saw our garbage cans neatly lined up in their crate with the recycling bin placed alongside, just the way we left it in the early morning. "Well...", I thought. "Best Sanitation is just like all the other garbage guys...lousy customer service and not caring about our business!"

But wait......I had a great surprise! As I walked over to the cans, I discovered all the garbage and all the recycling had been picked up......and best of all.....everything was neatly placed back on our property with the utmost care.

Thank you, Best Sanitation, for a job very well done. Let's hear it for the local guys!
